For the grown-ups beside them

Curiosity needs good company

Chip’s stories are made for ages 6–10, with the understanding that children and grown-ups are learning about technology together.

A story first

Each adventure begins with a recognisable moment—not a lecture—and ends by returning to something enjoyable.

Calm, not shame

Adults stay supportive. The aim is to make questions easier to ask and small mistakes easier to talk about.

One useful step

Each story focuses on one understandable problem and one practical skill that can grow with the child.

Reading together

Conversation can stay inside the story

There is no requirement for a separate parent companion. A pause, a question or a shared laugh can be enough. The stories make space for grown-ups to wonder alongside children rather than having every answer ready.

“What do you think Chip noticed?” can open more than “What should Chip have done?”
